Brian contacted me when he came across my Instagram profile.  He was planning a trip to Colorado with his girlfriend Ashley and wanted to propose to her.  I was extremely excited because I think a proposal is an amazing moment and every woman should be able to look back at photos of it!  Brian and Ashley were staying in Colorado Springs for a few days and Brian wanted a scenic location that wasn’t going to be too crowded with people.  I am not from Colorado Springs so I reached out to some fellow photographers for location ideas then took a day to go scout out some spots.  We decided on Helen Hunt falls and it was perfect!  On their big day I was thirty something weeks pregnant and hid in some bushes patiently waiting for them to arrive to the spot. I can only imagine what people were thinking if they saw me.  They arrived and I caught every moment of it.  Ashley was shocked!  She had no idea that Brian had this up his sleeve.  Once she had that beautiful ring on her finger we went to another spot close by and took some pictures of the two of them to capture the feeling of pure joy of being a newly engaged couple!
